Production Notes:
Since I first created Origin in 2015, I have continued painting through many ups and downs. My work has evolved from monochrome pen drawings to colored pieces, and from paper to canvas, exploring my art more deeply over the past decade. Witnessing the birth of my daughter gave me a concrete sense of Origin’s themes of life, birth, and death, deepening my reflections.
At the core of this work is the cycle of life and reincarnation: new life inherits much from the previous generation, while old life decays. I depict this using DNA, plants, and elements of life like a grand blueprint. In 2025, I reinterpreted this theme through my current artistic approach and created it in a new form.
2015年に初めて「Origin」を描いて以来、紆余曲折を経ながらも絵を描き続けてきました。モノクロームのペン画から色彩を使った作品、紙からキャンバスへの制作へと表現方法を広げ、この10年間で自分の絵を深く掘り下げてきました。娘の出産にも立ち会い、「Origin」のテーマである「生・誕生・死」をより具体的に実感し、考えも深まりました。
この作品の根底には生命の循環や輪廻転生があり、新しい命が誕生するとき、多くの情報が先代から受け継がれ、古い命は朽ちていきます。その様子をDNAや植物、生命の要素を絡めて壮大な設計図のように描くというテーマがありました。それを今（2025年）の自分の表現方法で再解釈し、新たな形で描くことを試みました。

Human beings, with their diverse emotions and cultures, sometimes create discord and sometimes harmony. Their existence embodies both fear and threat, yet also holds the potential for hope and renewal. I expressed this through a variety of colors that never completely blend into one, but through overlapping, hiding, and coexisting, they form new relationships and harmony. The coexistence of many different colors represents the hope that diverse people can live together in a new balance.
互いに異なる感情や文化背景を抱え、時に不協和を生み、時に調和をつくり出す人間という存在。 その姿は恐怖や脅威であると同時に、希望や再生の可能性を秘めている。 私はその姿を多種多様な色彩で表現した。色は決して混ざり合うことはなく、完全に一つになることはない。 けれど、重なり、隠し、寄り添い、並ぶことで、新しい関係や調和が生まれる。 様々な異なる色が調和を持って存在することで、多種多様な人間が新しいバランスの上で共生することに 対する希望を描いている
